Title: ‘Let me tell you a story – whisper of exile’

With the Project we discussed issue of Europeans who were exiled to Siberia during and after the WWII. Lubelskie region of Poland still has living witnesses of that times who are able to share their stories with next generations. We met those seniors and wrote their stories. Participants also visited regional places which are connected to main topic of our youth exchange.

We worked with proven non formal education methods, advertised and disseminated results.

Results of our project: Development of historical knowledge among participants; Increasement of knowledge about Syberian exiles in our local societies; Publication with interviews of ‘living history witnesses’, Video documentary about our project.

Participants were 32 young Europeans from Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus and Romania who are interested in history of XX century.
